Monroe, WI

As part of Monroe Main Street's Farmin' on the Square project for 2013-2014, we painted a cow! Her name is MOO-rilyn Monroe - The Green County Tour Guide. The biggest challenge was getting her up the stairs to the studio! After that, all it took was a bunch of acrylic paint, 82 hours and one all-nighter.
We always start out with an underpaint paint of purple.
Here Nikki adds a base coat of browns as the first layer of the lovely Brown Swiss color.
Nikki starts the finish coat on the fur while Suzanne starts detailing the postcards, and buttons on MOO-rilyn's jacket.
Just a few of MOO-rilyn's postcards
Close to done!
